- primary emphasis is on high quality health care for patients of every age
- collaborate with health care professionals to provide accessible, affordable health care for the uninsured
- grants and donations provide the majority of Shalom's support patients pay on a sliding fee scale; however no patient is turned away for inability to pay
Shalom Health Care Center, Inc. provides a wide range of primary health care services including:
- acute care
- health maintenance
- screening
- chronic disease management
- health education
- diet and weight management
- smoking cessation
We would appreciate a gift from you to:
- help obtain additional space for the clinics
- contribute to operating expenses to fulfill our mission of providing affordable and accessible healthcare
Your gift will help provide an adequate clinic and operating funds to care for a child, an elderly person, or a hard working uninsured adult. Here are some examples of how you could help in the operation of the clinics:
- $ 25 helps fund a child’s immunization visit
- $ 50 helps treat a child with asthma
- $ 100 helps detect cervical and breast cancer
- $ 500 helps fund the clinic’s lab tests for a day
- $ 1,000 helps provide treatment of a patient’s diabetes for six months
- $ 2,000 helps sponsor a day of healthcare in one of Shalom’s primary care clinics
- $ 10,000 helps fund one of the primary care clinics for a week.

Shalom Health Care Center Inc. was established in 1994 to address a need for health care for the medically underserved in Indianapolis, IN and has grown to include a full service primary health care clinic and seven school based clinics.
Shalom Health Care Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
